Terms for law firms listing on the directory
This Listing Agreement sets out the terms on which a law firm (the Firm, you, or your) may list its practice on Law Firms in Kenya at lawfirmsinkenya.com (the directory). The directory is operated by Naimar Agency Ltd (the Operator, we, us, or our). By submitting a listing, making payment, or maintaining a listing on the directory, you agree to this Agreement. This Agreement is in addition to the general Terms and Conditions of the website.
We offer the following paid listing and advertising options:
Standard Listing. An annual listing that includes a full firm profile, practice areas, location, logo, contact details, and eligibility for the Featured rotation.
Top Law Firms Placement. An annual pinned placement at the top of a chosen location page, limited to three slots per page.
Display Advertising. Banner advertising charged on a daily rate, subject to availability.
Current pricing for each option is published on the directory and may be updated from time to time. The price applicable to your listing is the price in effect at the time of purchase or renewal.
To list on the directory, your Firm must be a legal practice whose advocates hold valid practising certificates issued by the Law Society of Kenya. We reserve the right to request proof of registration and to decline or remove any listing that does not meet this requirement.
Listing fees are payable in advance. We accept payment by M-Pesa, bank transfer, and PesaPal card payment. Monthly installment arrangements may be offered at our discretion. Your listing or placement becomes active once payment is confirmed. Listings typically go live within 48 hours of payment confirmation.
Standard Listings and Top Law Firms placements run for a period of twelve months from the date the listing goes live, unless stated otherwise. We will notify you before your listing expires. Renewal is not automatic unless you arrange otherwise. If a listing is not renewed, it may be unpublished at the end of the term.
Top Law Firms placements are limited to three slots per page and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A slot is held for the duration of your paid term. We do not guarantee availability of any specific slot or page, and once a slot is taken it is unavailable to other firms until it is released or expires.
Listing fees are generally non-refundable once a listing or placement is live. If we are unable to publish your listing, or if we remove your listing for reasons not caused by your breach of this Agreement, we may at our discretion offer a pro-rata refund or credit. No refund is due where a listing is removed because of a breach of this Agreement or the website Terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your listing. You agree that:
All information you provide is true, accurate, and not misleading.
You hold the rights to any logo, images, and content you submit.
Your listing does not infringe the rights of any third party or breach any law or professional rule.
You will keep your listing information current and notify us of material changes.
You grant the Operator a non-exclusive licence to publish and display your listing content for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory.
You are responsible for ensuring that your listing complies with the advertising and professional conduct rules of the Law Society of Kenya and any other applicable regulations. The Operator is not responsible for your compliance with professional rules governing the marketing of legal services.
We reserve the right to:
Edit listing formatting for consistency and presentation, without changing the substance of your content.
Decline, suspend, or remove any listing that breaches this Agreement, the website Terms, or applicable law.
Change the design, structure, or features of the directory at any time.
Adjust pricing for future terms and renewals.
We do not guarantee any specific level of visibility, traffic, enquiries, leads, or business outcomes from your listing. While we optimise listings for search and submit them for indexing, search engine rankings and user behaviour are outside our control. Listing fees are for the placement and services described, not for guaranteed results.
We may suspend or terminate your listing if you breach this Agreement, provide false information, fail to pay, lose your standing with the Law Society of Kenya, or engage in conduct that we reasonably consider harmful to the directory or its users. You may request removal of your listing at any time, subject to the refund terms in this Agreement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator’s total liability to you in connection with your listing shall not exceed the amount you paid for the listing in the twelve months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business, profit, or reputation.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
